Disneyland not the happiest place on

Not the actual Disneyland, but my version of Disneyland.

Disneyland not the happiest place on

The beach is a 30 minute drive. And, unfortunately, Disneyland is 15 minutes down the road from me. I can understand the wishing to be me part.

The going to Disneyland thing, not so much. I love anything else Disney related. Lion King makes me cry. I never want to grow up, just like Peter Pan.

And if you count Pixar as Disney, I would like to let it be known that no story better related to my life than Toy Story 3.

It was like they followed me around for 18 years before I went to college and then made a movie out of it. Here is my reasoning. As a SoCal kid growing up right down the street, Disneyland always meant one thing: Horrifically terrible traffic that made it seem as if a mystical time vortex sprouted up somewhere near the castle that stopped time and destroyed my soul in the process.

To which I respond with: If I am going to pay for a good time, I expect a thrill that will leave me feeling satisfied with my investment.

Disneyland does not deliver on thrill. It is a breeding ground for couples and families. If you want to shoot things with a laser, go play laser tag. But because of all the kiddie rides and the kiddie games, there are naturally plenty of kids.

Trust me, for the most part kids are as awesome as laser tag. When I lifeguard over the summer, I hang out with kids pretty much all day long, and I love working with them.

But young children were not made to go to amusement parks because they get tired easily. Kids are also related to reason no. The kids come with their parents. They bring their friends. And eventually you realize, there is a shitload of people everywhere around you. You can barely walk through the park without bumping into people in ways that might be considered sexual harassment in 39 states.

And this overcrowding makes the lines seem like they go on forever. Once you get into a line for one of those non-thrilling rides, you are trapped.

The line is going to take 2 hours for you to get through. You will be surround by crying children. And once you do that you instantly regret it because… Reason no. It is so goddamn expensive. Everything at that park is. It costs you over 70 dollars just to get in.

I have no idea how much a season pass is, but it must be ridiculously overpriced.

Last time I checked, you are an adult at 18, you greedy Disneyland officials. Once inside the park, everything is marked up way beyond what its face value is. You already own half the world. So there you have it. Factual evidence about why Disneyland is NOT the happiest place on earth. What is the happiest place on Earth?

According to a United Nations agency report, it’s webkandii.coming to a film, it’s the new house you just webkandii.com according to my 5-year-old, it’s Disneyland. After all, it’s the theme park’s official tagline! Where does it Snow at Disneyland Resort?

Actual “snow” fall, and I quote snow, because this is the magical type of snow that looks like snow, falls like snow, glistens like snow, and then magically disappears once it hits the ground. My last visit to Tokyo Disneyland was in when I was still a kid and so during my latest visit to Tokyo last year, I've decided to take the opportunity to once again visit the happiest place on earth (well in Tokyo, since there are multiple Disneyland theme parks around the world).
